Scholarships

Established in 1997, this fund honors a dedicated teacher who believed in equal opportunities for children. Scholarships are available year-round on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on program space, family eligibility, and available funds.

Requirements:

• Online registration for a program (Pre-K through 8th grade).
• Proof of income with last year’s tax return (required).
• Hardship letter (optional but encouraged).

Details:

• Maximum award: $600 per household (not per child).
• Can be used for program fees and/or equipment.
• Families with hardship letters may qualify even if income requirements aren’t met.
• Parent volunteering is encouraged.
• All information is confidential; additional documentation may be requested.
• Incomplete applications may be delayed or denied.

General Scholarships provide financial support for programs at Northshire Civic Center (excluding ice-season programs). Awards are available year-round on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on program space, family eligibility, and available funds.
