About Us

Since its founding, the Northshire Civic Center has stood as a gathering place for our community. What began with Riley Rink has grown into a destination where neighbors, families, and visitors come together to play, compete, celebrate, and connect.

In the winter months, the rink comes alive with hockey, figure skating, and learn-to-skate programs that have introduced generations of kids and adults to the joy of being on the ice. As the seasons change, so does our space—transforming into turf for field sports, training, and recreation throughout the spring. And when summer arrives, our grounds open up as the premier festival venue in Southern Vermont, hosting concerts, craft fairs, and community events that draw thousands to the Green Mountains.

At our core, we are more than just an ice rink or an event venue—we are a community center for all. Whether it’s through sports, arts, or shared experiences, the Northshire Civic Center continues to be where Vermont gathers.
