About Us

Riley Rink at Hunter Park is a community, non profit civic center for sports, events & exhibitions that provides quality athletic, cultural and social programming for children, teens, adults and families. We rely on generous financial and dedicated volunteer support from our community.

Southern Vermont’s largest indoor special events, multi-purpose facility features the area’s only Olympic-sized ice rink. We accommodate public and private ice skating. Skate rentals are available. Enjoy all the action from the Paul Schimpt Warming room. Don’t forget to stop by the newly named “Overlook Room” and enjoy quality of food you just don’t normally get at a concession stand. Private party space is available – reservations are required.

The crown jewel of RRHP is the newly established Northshire Skating Academy. With its Learn to Skate Curriculum, Riley Rink offers Adult Hockey leagues, specialized clinics, adult drop-in hockey and a full slate of public skate times. We are a proud partner and home to Northshire Hockey Association, Mainstreet Hockey and the Rusty Blades adult women’s hockey league.

Riley Rink at Hunter Park Mission Statement

Riley Rink at Hunter Park is a premier non profit civic center that hosts sports, events and exhibitions serving children, teens, adults and families in Southern Vermont.

Opened in 1997, Riley Rink at Hunter Park sits on 35 acres in the foothills of Vermont's bucolic Green Mountain National Forest on Route 7A in Manchester Center, Vermont.  With 22,000 square feet of open floor space and an Olympic-sized indoor skating rink, it is Southern Vermont's premier civic center for sports, events, and exhibitions.

Riley Rink at Hunter Park features recreational skating, figure skating instructions, youth and adult hockey leagues, and it is home to the Northshire Skating Academy during the winter months.

In March the rink transforms to an indoor arena, where children and adults play lacrosse, baseball, and soccer.

In April, events & exhibitions begin and are held weekly through October, including antique shows, concerts, and more animated events like the Southshire Roller Derby and Cairo Bingo.
