Opened in 1997, Riley Rink at Hunter Park is Southern Vermont’s premier Civic Center located in the foothills of Vermont’s Green Mountains Riley Rink at Hunter Park consists of: Riley Rink, an olympic (100 x 200) ice sheet that operates as an ice arena 26 weeks per year, indoor turf 8 weeks per year and event, concert, tradeshow venue the remaining 18 weeks per year The unique design features an open floor area of 20,000 square feet and a side wall that opens onto the great lawn, transforming the facility into an amphitheater with outdoor lawn seating. During concerts the facility can seat 1,750 indoors and over 1,000 on the lawn. The building was designed to offer high acoustical value and has been a favorite for many nationally and internationally known recording artists. Opened in 1997, Riley Rink at Hunter Park has already been host to the Vermont Products Trade Show and The Vermont Antique Dealers Show as well as many corporate parties and conventions. In addition there is a soccer/lacrosse field situated outdoors, adjacent to the Riley Rink building. Hunter Park includes nearly 40 acres of manicured lawns, gardens and fields, unmatched by any other ice rink facility. Riley Rink at Hunter Park is a private not for profit 501 (c)(3) organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our mission: to provide affordable youth, adult and family enrichment through athletic, cultural and social activities and programs for the broadest segments within our communities.
